FAQs
How soon after birth can I join?
1
This can vary from person to person. Many women feel ready to return around 6 weeks after a vaginal birth and 8–12 weeks after a C-section, depending on their recovery and how they’re feeling. If you’re unsure when to start, please contact me and we can chat through your individual circumstances.
Yes — babies are absolutely welcome!! Classes are suitable for babies up to crawling age, helping you participate comfortably while keeping sessions calm and manageable. Please bring a towel or small mat for them to lie beside you.

Can I bring my baby?
What do postnatal classes focus on?
3
Our Nuaa Restore class will help you reconnect with your body after birth, supporting core and pelvic floor recovery, rebuilding strength, improving posture, and helping you feel stronger and more confident in your postnatal journey.
What should I bring to class?
4
Wear comfortable clothing you can move easily in and bring your mat and water. For your baby, please bring a small blanket or towel for them to lie on, along with anything they may need to feel settled during class (such as feeds, nappies, or comfort items).
Can I attend if I have diastasis recti (ab separation)?
5
Yes. As a Chartered Physiotherapist, I can monitor your diastasis recti and guide you with exercises to support your abdominal recovery. This is one of the reasons I offer a screening & call before starting.
Why do I need a screening call?
6
Every postnatal recovery journey is different. A short screening call helps us understand where you are in your recovery, any symptoms or concerns you may be experiencing, and ensure the class is safe and suitable for you. It’s a relaxed conversation designed to help you feel confident, supported, and ready before starting your postnatal journey with Nuaa.
What happens if I can’t make a class?
7
I understand that life can be busy and unexpected things come up. Your class place is reserved exclusively for you throughout the block, so unfortunately missed sessions cannot usually be refunded or carried forward. If you have any concerns or exceptional circumstances, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss it.
